Originate Slate aims to enhance the development of original IP for the global marketplace by supporting Victorian production companies that have an established track record in creating and financing quality TV drama or narrative live-action comedy through supplementary funding.
By supporting the critical early stages of development, Originate Slate will allow companies to be more ambitious in the selection and development of a slate of projects, increase their international competitiveness, and provide them with the flexibility to respond quickly to changing market demands.

Originate Genre is a dynamic initiative designed to support and amplify the wealth of live-action genre feature film storytellers in Victoria, with a focus on the development of the following genres: Action / Comedy / Fantasy / Horror / Romcom / Science-Fiction / Thriller. The two-stage development program will elevate projects from early-stage concept to market-ready screenplays.
